In November 2016, we embarked on a journey to Zambia, specifically to the South Luangwa National Park. Covering over 9,000 square kilometers, it is the second-largest park in Zambia after Kafue. Our journey began with a night flight from Schiphol Airport via Kenya Airways to Nairobi, and after just an hour, we continued to Lusaka. It was a tight schedule, but it allowed us to save an extra night in a hotel. From Lusaka, we took a domestic flight with Proflight to the Mfuwe airport. Friday, November 13th Overnight at Slipway Hotel, Dar Es Salaam Perhaps even more than during our Ruaha trip in 2014, I wondered why Matoke Tours brought us to Slipway for just one night.
